The Final Battle: Syfy’s ‘Face Off’ Season Finale Airs Tonight

Tonight the three remaining contestants on Syfy’s “Face Off” will battle it out to determine who will be the winner of season five. In our video below, “Face Off” host McKenzie Westmore teases tonight’s season finale, and shares a sneak peek at the magnificent looks that the contestants create for a performance of Swan Lake. She also tells us a little about what it’s like being the daughter of legendary makeup artist Michael Westmore, and why she chose acting instead of following in her father’s famous footsteps.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Hollywood hosted the U.S. premiere of Focus Features’ Dallas Buyers Club, and NBCUDirect takes you onto the red carpet where actors and producers were discussing their movie inspired by true events. The drama stars Matthew McConaughey as Ron Woodroof, the real-life Texan whose self-interest was galvanized into something much more, with Jennifer Garner and Jared Leto. Chris Matthews and Friends Celebrate New Book And Talk Politics

Last night Chris Matthews, host of MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews, celebrated the release of his new book “Tip and The Gipper: When Politics Worked” at PJ Clarke’s in New York City. Matthews spoke about the collegial relationship between Speaker of the House Tip O’Neil, who was Matthews’ boss early in his career, and President Ronald Reagan, telling a story that illustrated the fact even when the two men disagreed, they shared mutual respect: “My boss Tip O’Neil would always say, even though we argued with him, he would say The President of The United States,” Matthews said. “He’d never say Reagan, like today they say Obama, it’s very different.”

Martin Bashir, Joy-Ann Reid, Ed Rendell, and MNSBC’s newest addition Ronan Farrow weighed in on the book and the current state of affairs in DC right now. Check it out here:

Mike O’Malley Talks ‘Welcome to the Family’ and Getting Naked

In the new NBC comedy series “Welcome to the Family,” Mike O’Malley plays Dan Yoder, a father whose 18-year-old daughter announces she is pregnant by her boyfriend. Once the teens break the news to their families, both sides try adjusting to their new situation, which goes anything but smoothly as they all struggle to get along.

Mike O’Malley (“Glee,” “My Name is Earl”) sat down with us for a hilarious interview to chat about the show, how being a dad in real life compares to being a dad on television, and how he wound up naked on Episode 3 airing next week. Yupp — naked! “It’s really fun when they put in the script that you naked is a point of hilarity,” O’Malley joked.
