Major League Soccer Kicks Off March 2nd On NBC Sports Network

Are you ready for soccer season? Major League Soccer returns on March 2nd, and you can catch all the action on NBC and NBC Sports Network! We sat down with players Brad Davis (Houston Dynamo), Chris Wondolowski (San Jose Earthquakes), Dan Kennedy (Chivas USA), and Dwayne De Rosario (D.C. United) to talk about what they are most excited for in the upcoming season, what teams they think are their biggest competition, and how soccer has changed dramatically in the US over the past few years.

Don’t miss “Rivalry Weekend” on Saturday, March 16, for wall-to-wall coverage on NBC and NBC Sports Network on all MLS games that day. NBC begins the day with the New York Red Bulls vs. D.C. United at 12:30 p.m. ET, from Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J. NBC Sports Network will air two more games that day, beginning with Sporting KC vs. Chicago Fire at 3 p.m. ET, and the Seattle Sounders host the Portland Timbers later that night. NBC Sports Group studios in Stamford, Conn., will also host a “whip around” show featuring coverage of the rest of that day’s MLS games.
