Around the World in 80 Plates – premieres tonight on Bravo at 10pm – and takes culinary competition both long distance and to the next level as 12 chefs criss-cross around the globe testing their skills and perseverance.

In each episode, the contestants will travel to a different international city where they will learn the local customs, cultures, and cuisines and participate in a gauntlet of culinary challenges.

We stopped by the Around the World in 80 Plates premiere party in New York City to chat with Co-Hosts Cat Cora and Curtis Stone. Hear what they have to say about the international aspect of the show, their favorite cuisines, and the crazy foods they tried on the road:
