Love ain’t easy, so Bravo has decided to take a look into the 50% divorce rate by examining the first year of marriage through the new docu-series “Newlyweds: The First Year.” The series follows four couples through their first 365 days together, capturing everything from the wedding to their one-year anniversary, and all the good and bad times in between. We talked to two of the couples, Kimberly and Alaska Gedeon and Blair Late and Jeff Pedersen, about the show and what the most difficult challenges are during the first year of marriage.

It’s only been a year since Kim Zolciak’s million dollar wedding to the Atlanta Falcons defensive end Kroy Biermann, but a lot has changed in the newlyweds’ life. This season, their family grows even bigger with the addition of a fourth child, Kash Kade, and they’re working on remodeling their new home.
