Stars of NBC’s “Chicago Fire” — Taylor Kinney and Jesse Spencer — will be heating up the Fall season with new episodes, so we tracked them down for few teasers on the new season. AND we got the skinny on the three real fire house dogs that are competing for a chance to appear alongside the studs in an upcoming episode, thanks to the TODAY Show.

Surrounded by the adorable pups, Taylor and Jesse filled us in on the new season of “Chicago Fire,” and their own pet history. Working in Chicago most of the time, the guys said they have little free time for a dog of their own, but longtime dog owner Taylor Kinney said he hopes to get one in the near future.

“Someday soon,” Taylor told us. “I’d love to have another one.”
