This Saturday 86 talented hopefuls from around the world will gather in Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia to vie for the title of Miss Universe 2013. The competition, which will air on NBC on November 9th at 9 pm ET, will be hosted by MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts and “America’s Got Talent” judge Mel B.
Miss Universe 2013 will also be broadcast in Spanish direct from Moscow, Russia on Saturday, November 9 at 8pm/7c on Telemundo. Rashel Diaz and Guad Venegas will host the glamorous event, which will be preceded by “Camino a la Corona,” a Telemundo network special hosted by Monica Noguera that offers a behind-the-scenes look at the Latin contestants. Tonight the three remaining contestants on Syfy’s “Face Off” will battle it out to determine who will be the winner of season five. In our video below, “Face Off” host McKenzie Westmore teases tonight’s season finale, and shares a sneak peek at the magnificent looks that the contestants create for a performance of Swan Lake. Last night Chris Matthews, host of MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews, celebrated the release of his new book “Tip and The Gipper: When Politics Worked” at PJ Clarke’s in New York City. Matthews spoke about the collegial relationship between Speaker of the House Tip O’Neil, who was Matthews’ boss early in his career, and President Ronald Reagan, telling a story that illustrated the fact even when the two men disagreed, they shared mutual respect: “My boss Tip O’Neil would always say, even though we argued with him, he would say The President of The United States,” Matthews said. “He’d never say Reagan, like today they say Obama, it’s very different.”
