“Fugitivos de la Ley: Los Angeles” is a bilingual show on mun2 that follows a team of bounty hunters as they track down bail jumping criminals in Los Angeles. The show, which is currently the #1 most watched program on Sunday at 8pm among Hispanic cable networks, is full of adrenaline and thrills. We spoke with some of the cast about what the show has to offer, some of their personal experiences while on the job, and we get a look at what this season has in store!

‘La Teniente’ Brings The Action to mun2 Sunday Nights

“La Teniente” (The Lieutenant) is a much buzzed about action series that follows a Mexican Navy special operations unit through their military missions. The Spanish-language show, which airs Sundays on mun2 at 10/9c, offers English subtitles so everyone can experience the drama, action, love triangles, and more!

We chatted with Sylvia Saenz and Armando Torrea, two “La Teniente” stars, who told us a little about what we can expect to see on the show, how they prepared for their roles, and how “La Teniente” caters to both English and Spanish-speaking viewers. Hear all that, PLUS, see clips from this weekend’s new episode, where a group of hooded men take over a private school and hold the teachers and students hostage.

CHIQUIS RIVERA DISHES ON HER NEW REALITY SHOW

Chiquis Rivera, star of Chiquis ‘n Control the new reality show on mun2 recently gave us all of the details on her new gig. The one-hour reality series is a spin-off from mun2’s I love Jenni, which follows the life of Latin superstar Jenni Rivera and her family. Now Jenni’s eldest daughter Chiquis has her own show where audiences can follow her as she launches her first business, maneuvers a new residence and takes on the entertaining world of being a single Latina in Los Angeles.

We chatted with Chiquis about what viewers can expect to see, who she thinks will relate to the show, and what its like being on a reality show! Check it all out here and don’t forget to tune into mun2 this Saturday at 3 p.m. EST for a brand new episode:

The New Generation Latino Consortium presented their 5th annual conference in New York City yesterday which was sponsored by mun2 in effort to help educate and inform the business and entertainment community about the New Generation Latino (NGL) market.

We met with Yarel Ramos – host of Reventon con Yarel on mun2 and one of the moderators at the conference – to learn more about the NGL market as a whole, their impact on this year’s election, and more. Take a look here:

PSYCHIC MEDIUM A.J. BARRERA CHANNELS SPIRITS AT THE HAUNTED ALGONQUIN HOTEL

With Halloween quickly approaching, we decided to take psychic medium A.J. Barrera of mun2′s paranormal investigative series “From Beyond,” to the historic and supposedly haunted Algonquin Hotel in New York City.

Legend says that the spirits of the “Algonquin Round Table,” a well-known group consisting of poets and writers from the early 1900s, including Dorothy Parker, still lurk at the same table where they gathered for lunch every day. BREAKING: MUN2 UNVEILS THE BEST CITIES FOR YOUNG LATINOS TO WORK AND PLAY – FELICIDADES BOSTON!

With help from the U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, mun2 has created the first complete list of best cities to live in for Young Latinos. Judged on a variety of factors from percentage of young singles to affordability, each city offers its own curb-appeal. Boston was the big winner, earning top rankings for its public facilities, low unemployment rate and highly educated, sports-obsessed population.

Other metropolitan cities earning top five slots included Austin, Denver, New York and Phoenix. To learn more about the study and a full list of cities, check out this video here:

BEAUTIES & THE BOSS SPICE UP SUNDAY NIGHT TV

Mun2 makes Sunday nights muy caliente this summer with its new reality series, “Beauties & The Boss,” premiering this Sunday, June 19 at 9 p.m. ET.

The show gives an inside look at the life of Monica Weitzel, the young, Latina CEO of Assorted Flavors Agency, a Los Angeles based promotional modeling agency. With Monica comes a roster of sexy, bold and unpredictable promo-girl beauties who take on LA by day and heat up the nights during their exciting promo assignments.

We caught up with two of the beauties, Diane and Jenn M, at the NBC Experience Store at 30 rock this week and got their take on the show. Check it out here:

TELEMUNDO ROCKS THE LATIN BILLBOARD AWARDS

Telemundo had a real blockbuster hit on their hands with the 2011 Billboard Latin Music Awards presented by State Farm, both on-air and online. The April 28th broadcast drew the highest-ever numbers in the award show’s 13-year history. Across all demographics, the pre-show “Alfombra Billboard” and the awards telecast reached nearly 6.6 million total viewers on-air. Meanwhile on the web, the story got even better: the show was the #1 worldwide trending topic on twitter as it aired, and their following on Facebook grew by 54% that night. Even the livestream of the show saw record numbers, with almost 500,000 views.

MUN2 HEATS IT UP WITH NEW SHOW RPM MIAMI

“RPM Miami,” mun2’s new bilingual original series about speed, corruption, danger and passionate love, heats up TV’s Sunday night lineup with its premiere this Sunday, May 1 at 10 p.m. ET.

The show takes viewers to the streets and race tracks of cities of Sunny Harbor and Miami, where a group of young friends struggle to make something of themselves. Featuring a cast including some of today’s hottest new actors, we were lucky enough to chat with a few of them, Frankie J, Fernanda Romero and Adrian Bellani, recently in Los Angeles.
