Academy Award-winning director Alex Gibney’s We Steal Secrets: The Story of WikiLeaks details the creation of Julian Assange’s controversial website WikiLeaks, which facilitated the largest security breach in U.S. history. The documentary feature will be released by Focus World in select cities beginning Friday, May 24th; and on digital platforms including VOD beginning on Friday, June 7th. NBCUDirect sat down with the filmmaker at his offices to find out what he learned while making his movie.

Ray J Talks Premiere of ‘Bad Girls All Star Battle’

Oxygen’s “Bad Girls All Star Battle,” hosted by musician, actor and heartthrob Ray J, takes the rivalry outside the mansion and onto the playing field, pitting 14 of the biggest names in “Bad Girls Club” history against each other to compete for $100,000 and the grand title of “Baddest Bad Girl of All Time.” Split into two teams, the girls will be pushed to the absolute limit each week in a series of fun and over-the-top physical and mental challenges. This Sunday, May 19 at 9/8c, Donald Trump will make his final decision on who will be the first-ever winner of “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice.” In the final task, ‘Apprentice’ teammates worked together to create a new flavor of Walgreens Delish brand premium ice cream. Now the competition is down to Trace Adkins and Penn Jilette, but who’s going to win?

In our video below, we spoke to some of the cast and about their ice cream flavors, who they think is going to win, PLUS get a peek at Sunday’s episode where the teams put the finishing touches on their charity event.

Meet Indycar Driver Simona de Silvestro

A lot of people have heard of Danica Patrick, but have you heard of Simona de Silvestro? Well it’s about time you got to know the rising Indycar star. We talked to Simona about how she got her start in driving, what her goals are for upcoming races, and one thing most people don’t know about her: that she’s pretty superstitious! How superstitious? “I don’t like flying and stuff like that,” Simona told us. “When I have a really good weekend, I tend to eat the same kind of stuff the next weekend, or things like that!”

Simona recently finished 8th in Brazil, which was her third top-ten finish in the first four races of the season, and she is currently 9th in the point standing. You’ll be able to check out the 24-year-old at the the Indy 500 qualifying, airing on NBC Sports Network on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19.

‘The Office’ Bids Farewell

After nine seasons, “The Office” comes to an end. The two-hour-and-fifteen minute ‘Office’ finale special will air Thursday, May 16 on NBC, beginning at 8/7c with a look back at nine years with the staff of Dunder Mifflin, followed by the one-hour and fifteen minute series finale concluding at 10:15/9:15c. We talked to some of the show’s stars about the most memorable times on set, their favorite memories, and heard their special messages to loyal ‘Office’ fans everywhere.

New Reality Competition ‘Crowd Rules’ To Air On CNBC Prime

“Crowd Rules” is a new reality show that will premiere on CNBC on Tuesday May 14th at 9 PM ET/PT. The cable news network’s latest unscripted series features small businesses competing for a $50,000 prize that is decided by a studio audience of MBA students, consumers, and business owners. Owners of the small businesses will make their case to a panel of three: NY1 Anchor Pat Kiernan, Entrepreneur and jewelry designer Kendra Scott, and a weekly guest industry expert, but the real power lies in the hands of the audience whose votes ultimately decide which business is most deserving of the much needed investment.

We caught up with Pat and Kendra to see why “Crowd Rules” is different from all the other reality shows out there.

For years, iconic designer Betsey Johnson has led the fashion community with her fabulous, eclectic styles, and she now gives viewers unprecedented access to her fascinating life on the new docu-series “XOX Betsey Johnson” premiering Sunday May 12 at 8/7c on The Style Network.

With her daughter and muse Lulu Johnson by her side, Johnson is focused on reinventing her brand under Steve Madden after filing for bankruptcy and closing all her stores. Johnson and her daughter have always worked together to expand Johnson’s fashion empire, but the pressures of their business relationship have created a co-dependent, sometimes strained, mother-daughter relationship. Meanwhile, Lulu Johnson is having her own metamorphosis, looking to step out of her mother’s shadow and create her own fashion line. Surrounded by a cast of characters, including Brandon, Johnson’s right-hand and personal assistant, and Lulu’s outspoken best friend Angela, Johnson takes fans on an exciting ride through her world.
