TOM BROKAW AND USA NETWORK TEAM UP FOR “CHARACTERS UNITE”

As part of its Characters Unite public service campaign to combat prejudice and discrimination, USA Network has collaborated with NBC News Special Correspondent Tom Brokaw in the documentary “Bridging the Divide,” which examines America’s progress over the past 50 years. In the special, which premieres this Friday, December 10 at 7/6c, Brokaw introduces champions of change- ordinary citizens doing extraordinary work in communities across the country.

Last night we attended USA Network and The Moth’s Storytelling Event at the New York Public Library (one of a series of storytelling events to promote Characters Unite). We had the chance to speak with Mr. Brokaw about his thoughts and aspirations on the issues being addressed in “Bridging the Divide” and were also able to speak with Aimee Mullins and Wes Moore who are both featured in the documentary and were storytellers that evening.
