THE BILLION-DOLLAR RESEARCH LAB — ALAN WURTZEL TALKS TO THE ADVERTISING RESEARCH FOUNDATION ABOUT PLANS FOR THE 2012 LONDON OLYMPICS

Today, NBCUniversal’s President of Research and Media Development, Alan Wurtzel gave a speech at the Advertising Research Foundation’s Annual Conference highlighting findings from “Billion Dollar Olympics Research Lab.” He presented results from the previous two research labs conducted in Beijing and Vancouver and shared plans for the various projects that will be conducted during the London Summer Games.

The main projects in London will explore new ways to measure cross platform video consumption on TV, mobile, the PC and for the first time in this Olympics, the tablet. Wurtzel outlined details of the cross platform studies, that will be conducted in partnership with Google and comScore, and he also shared new plans for several social media research projects in the works.
